Abolish gender specific events

 @8V4DHL2from British Columbia  disagreed…4yrs4Y

Why would we do that? Gender exists .

 @9ZHBQHXfrom Manitoba  disagreed…5mos5MO

Yes, but only if their hormone levels are equivalent to those in the gender category in which they compete

We should base it off of the testosterone-estrogen hormonal difference. This would also mean wed have more than one category.

I think these decisions should be researched by medical professionals to assess the fairest competition for all

I do not care, if someone wants to play sports, let them play. if the loss of a soccer game ruins your life to the point you wont except someone for who they are then thats your own problem.

When a transgender girl competes against other girls and crushes all records makes me lean on the no side even though I hope for a more excepting world. Hormones won’t change your bones structure. When women are allowed to compete with men and visa versa I’ll be more excepting.

No, because usually transgenders convert such external appearance and organs but the internal power and capabilities remain and tend to the original gender either male or female.

Transgender athletes should compete against each other in their own category. It seems that any past or present exposure to androgenous hormones should be relatively compensated for regardless of the current gender of the competitors if this was the case.

No, but categories to sporting events should be changed and modified to even the playing field for all athletes

 @8VVSQHMGreenfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

All athletic competition should be based on height, weight, and ability. Sex and gender should not even be considered.

 @8TPZYQ5Greenfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, transgenders should be given the same opportunities as other genders are given.

 @95J9PCRfrom Ontario  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, and gender categories in athletics should be eliminated wherever possible.

 @8VS5X3XGreenfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

Separate category for trans men & trans women, so competing with people who have similar physical capabilities
