Yes, I’m a open category allowed to any gender. Male and female categories should remain consistent in their application to those born with that biological sex.

Sure, but as the sex on their birth certificate. Not the sex they identify as. Born male, compete against males. Born female, compete against females.

I do not support that because it is not fair for females. As males, we have a stronger build by genetics, which makes it an unjust and unfair fight.

 @9T3R3V9from Alberta  answered…8mos8MO

it depends on what sport, this is because studies have shown that trans athletes excel and don't excel in different sports

 @9JXN7JSfrom British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

I do not believe they should simply because of their biology and the fact one sex is biologically stronger than the other and would be unfair for either them or others depending what they transitioned from

They should compete in their own category not against biological gender categories

Allow women's sport to be for strictly biological women, and any other sporting league or event to be for ANYBODY who can compete, whether cis or trans

I believe that there should be a category that sets appart trans athletes from the biological ones.

 @93T2SFPfrom Newfoundland  answered…3yrs3Y

it should be up to the competition's organizers and the participants can choose wither or not to participate. but In the case of the Olympics, the organizers should either have two separate category's or hold a vote to decide.

No, a new gender identity, which is psychological, does not alter one's genetics, which is biological.

 @8ZZ2TB6from Ontario  answered…3yrs3Y

To me it depends on what phase they are in when transitioning to the other gender. Let's take that one swimmer for example; he was close to irrelevant when he was a male but then switched to a female gender and immediately won a championship. Personally I don't think that's fair but, if you do go the lengths with being transgender and start changing their entire body to become a more female body type which is way different than a male body type, then I think it would be fine.

 @8YCLWHGConservativefrom Ontario  answered…3yrs3Y

If the transgender athletes want to, then do so, but they can choose whether they want or don't.

 @8VSTDMFConservativefrom Nova Scotia  answered…4yrs4Y

Transgender athletes should have their own appropriate categories to compete with other transgender athletes.

 @8KRDCF3answered…4yrs4Y

No, they should be separated from both genders and in their own division.

No, they should be separated from both genders and put into their own division.
