Yes, we currently have too many immigrants, make the process easier for skilled workers, strictly screen immigrants for criminal backgrounds, and regularly review recent immigrants every 5 months for their first 2 years to ensure they have become productive citizens and then stop.

In my opinion, the policies on immigration needed to be ok like every immigrants need to have same privileges which Canadians have.

Make the process easier for refugees, but also check on the immigrants to see if they've been productive since they've been here.

YES, very strict screening on criminal background, must assimilate (but we already have a Balkanized state that has serious problems). Remove those who engage in criminal activity and ban for life. Immigrants should be trained to be productive citizens and be let into their previous work force ie. a doctor from another country should be able to become a doctor here!

The number of new immigrants needs to be conditioned by the ability of our society to provide for them. It would be nice if we could accept any and all that desire to live in our country, but can we house them, provide them jobs, integrate them properly? These are the kinds of questions that are not reflected in the possible answers.

Increase skilled immigration, and Implement a visa system for non stilled migrants over a period of 5 years, and if after the 5 years the individual has become a productive member of society, full citizenship will be granted.
