More to how many refugees we let in the country, if we can’t solve the homeless crisis and people in poverty and make life better for those people who live in our country. Why should I pay taxes to house, clothed and feed refugees when we can’t even help our own citizens in need a
@B4PDCFR4 days4D
Because research shows that a refugee is more likely to succeed with little help, while a homeless person will go back to the streets and drugs even after receiving all the help in the world they could prossibly get.

Yes, but more skilled workers and less students via diploma mills who are aiming to get their parents PR status (not hearsay, they'll say this themselves)
I don’t have a problem with our immigration policy. I think it’s cruel for anyone to try and survive in our current cost of living crisis. Immigrants would have better chances elsewhere same as citizens
@9F6VT7Z2yrs2Y
No, but ensure immigrants have the resources they need to have good quality of life here first
@8W2L44P4yrs4Y
Yes, but there should be a probationary period coming into the country. The government should also be taking care of it’s own people first, especially indigenous reservations that STILL have no running hydro which means no water yet they fork out so much money to support immigrants.
@8VVRL5M4yrs4Y
Would prefer a safe location for immigrants, but also to ensure our homeless population is taken care of first
@8VSCXBQ4yrs4Y
Stop giving them so much money
@8VH26PM4yrs4Y
I want us to accept refugees, but to reconsider the number of economic migrants we accept.
@8V8G7TF4yrs4Y
No, and the definition of family should be broadened to allow sponsorship of extended family members. More money needs to be spent so wait times are shortened. The entire immigration system should be overhauled and expanded. It is a mess!
@8TKGQ3D4yrs4Y
No, we should increase the amount of immigrants we welcome in Canada, especially young immigrants and immigrant families .
I don't believe it should be made more difficult, but there should be extra support and monitoring once they are members of our society
@8RB9GDN4yrs4Y
Be prepared for them to have a good safe country to welcome them
@8JT4TBZ4yrs4Y
Monitor everyone, including citizens, background checks, allow everyone in
@8D8N7PL5yrs5Y
Should be based on basic human empathy and compassion but the day the government does that is the day I marry Jake Gyllenhaal so
@9BHM3FQ2yrs2Y
Have a test that Doctors, nurses and others can take to qualify in Canada.
@98Q2TM72yrs2Y
No but we shouldn't be funding their lives here and not helping our own people
@958TX4J3yrs3Y
No, but the government should filter and try to benefit our economy in as many ways as possible.
