Yes, because the more people or immigrants the prime minister brings in the more people would vote for him.

 @9G9BS6ZConservativefrom Alberta  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, because canadian citizens can barley afford to live here. in order to allow more immigrants we have to have a financially feasible living situation.

 @9WJFRFQConservativefrom Saskatchewan  answered…6mos6MO

yes we have too many immigrants and they should be reviewed to ensure they have become productive citizens

 @9T64K8RConservativefrom Ontario  answered…7mos7MO

Yes, we currently have too many immigrants, make the process easier for skilled workers, strictly screen immigrants for criminal backgrounds, and regularly review recent immigrants every 5 months for their first 2 years to ensure they have become productive citizens and then stop.

 @9FN6Z9Lfrom Ontario  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, expedite the process for skilled workers (doctors, other medical professionals, electricians, plumbers, etc as long as they're qualified) while increasing screening measures for terrorists, communist party members, gang affiliates and violent offenders

 @9FHGSQWfrom British Columbia  answered…2yrs2Y

lower immigration rates for the mean time, as the housing crisis is out of control.

 @9W4WBQ7Conservativefrom British Columbia  answered…6mos6MO

In my opinion, the policies on immigration needed to be ok like every immigrants need to have same privileges which Canadians have.

 @9V72V7Ffrom British Columbia  answered…7mos7MO

Yes, and check on immigrants to see that they are assimilating to cansdian culture, actively trying to learn the language.

 @9TP237NConservativefrom Alberta  answered…7mos7MO

Make the process easier for refugees, but also check on the immigrants to see if they've been productive since they've been here.

 @9HXTRY4Conservativefrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

Too many migrants come in and suffer from high housing prices and prices. We should limit the number

 @9H3NJ7CConservativefrom Manitoba  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, but always let refugees in, unless they have serious criminal backgrounds or other harmful traits.

 @96KSTFXConservativefrom Alberta  answered…3yrs3Y

Strictly screen and provide criminal background checks for immigrants and depending on how severe those crimes are and how often they’ve committed crimes they can be admitted into the country.

 @95SHK28Conservativefrom Saskatchewan  answered…3yrs3Y

I think it should be best to let more skilled workers in but also check for criminal backgrounds

 @8Y8W43Qfrom Ontario  answered…3yrs3Y

yes but make it easier for skilled workers, implement a strict criminal background check.

 @8XPXBRKfrom Ontario  answered…3yrs3Y

yes but not to much more i feel like there shoud be a better screening on people we are letting in our country

 @8X57YRZConservativefrom Manitoba  answered…3yrs3Y

we struggle to support our own population and we still bring more people in

 @8VW5FBZConservativefrom Manitoba  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8VM72DHConservativefrom Saskatchewan  answered…4yrs4Y

As long as they aren't refugees. If they are fleeing war, crime, or just an unsafe environement. If they are unsafe in other cou ntries, let them in.

 @8V8KRXDConservativefrom Alberta  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, strictly screen immigrants for criminal backgrounds and we should regularly review recent immigrants to ensure they have become productive citizens

The minimum and maximum number of immigrants per year should be determined by an analysis of housing, medical, educational recourses and unemployment rate.

 @8TT97K7Conservativefrom Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

Immigrants should be trained to be productive citizens and be let into their previous work force ie. a doctor from another country should be able to become a doctor here!

 @8JZ5CQZfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, and impose Proof of funds for the buying of homes for non-citizens

 @8HXMMJNConservativefrom Ontario  answered…5yrs5Y

yes and there should be a cap for the amount of people that can immigrate each year

 @8DQ2S2LConservativefrom British Columbia  answered…5yrs5Y

The same answer as the Muslim question, those who the federal agents deem "unsafe" should be monitored, as many terrorists were on FBI watchlist but the FBI didn't do anything about it.

 @8CTWWHTConservativefrom Alberta  answered…5yrs5Y

i think that the government should strictly screen immigrants for their criminal backgrounds and that the process should be easier for skilled workers and refugees in order to enter the country.

 @99HWSWSConservativefrom Ontario  answered…2yrs2Y

 @98NCNVQConservativefrom Nova Scotia  answered…2yrs2Y

It should be easier for refugees but still have a strict criminal background check

 @97VBYPLfrom Quebec  answered…2yrs2Y

Ensure they meet our standards based off a point system. And continue screening especially from high risk countries

 @8VV7J7QConservativefrom Alberta  answered…4yrs4Y

at the moment yes because of Covid but after Covid is done I am perfectly fine with the immigration program

 @8SHHHXYfrom Manitoba  answered…4yrs4Y

I feel as though the process should be easier for refugees but they should also be screened for criminal backgrounds. There should also be checking in on the immigrants and making sure they become productive citizens and haven't been discriminated against( when it comes to things like getting jobs).

 @93RSFHYfrom Ontario  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, and we do not have the current infrastructure to adequately house or sustain more immigrants.

 @92DRCK8Conservativefrom Ontario  answered…3yrs3Y

Stop the open borders. It goes against the whole immigration policy of this country.

 @8ZX3GXZConservativefrom Ontario  answered…3yrs3Y

Increase skilled immigration, and Implement a visa system for non stilled migrants over a period of 5 years, and if after the 5 years the individual has become a productive member of society, full citizenship will be granted.
