Since 1999, the executions of drug smugglers have become more common in Indonesia, Iran, China and Pakistan. In March 2018, U.S. President Donald Trump proposed executing drug traffickers to fight his country’s opioid epidemic. 32 countries impose the death penalty for drug smuggling. Seven of these countries (China, Indonesia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Malaysia and Singapore) routinely execute drug offenders. Asia and the Middle East’s tough approach contrasts with many Western countries who have legalized cannabis in recent years (selling cannabis in Saudi Arabia is punished by beheading).

No, I believe no one should receive the death penalty
@9FYP94M2yrs2Y
No. I believe they should serve longer sentences. And closer to life if someone died from drugs they trafficked.
This is the toughest question on this test. I would argue no, purely because it is a very situational job. Some people may be forced into that life, others may choose it. I don't think the death penalty is fitting for this crime, however there should be a long sentence for mass-distribution.
i do not agree that drug traffickers should receive a death penalty depending on the extent of the criminal activity, criminals should have the right to be given a parole hearing after 10 years; releasing resident should be negotiated based off of the parole hearing.

yes only if it is a certain type of drug and a large amount of it.
No, rehabilitation programs. There is a reason someone turned to that, maybe they had no other opportunity. Poor upbringing etc.

Yes, but only if they proven guilty to murder, including the people who died from the drug they trafficked
