-They provide the weapon (no cost to taxpayers)
-They possess any state required carry permit
-They pass a range qualification test (they're competent as a shooter)
-The weapon is not kept on their person, but in a bio-access safe in a classroom/teacher lounge (fingerprint/iris lock)
-Only the Superintendent, Principal, Resource Officers, and other armed teachers know who is armed
