But in order to pay money to everyone wouldn't they have to increase taxes to substitute the lost money the government is giving away. Canadas taxes are already one of t gf e highest. I suggest one way to help the poor is to reduce taxes so they will have more money to keep in their jobs. And welfare exists so their is no need for this. I suggest that the government should focus more on career counselling
Because it would teach the poor how to get a job, thus making them a part of our capitalistic society and thus they can pay taxes like normal people. I advice that schools require you to have spend sometime in a job in grade 12 in order for them to pass highschool because by the time they graduate they already have a job.
