Whether or not I would support a UBI would entirely depend on a guarantee that it is truly unconditionnal, and that no government has the power to take it away from a citizen if that citizen does or thinks something that the government does not approve of.

The government should not provide money to everyone. Just those who are stuggling alot. They should provide them with housing and then basic necessities. This way they will have enough to live and will have the things needed to have a better life.
Yes, people should be able to qualify for UBI but must go through an interview and testing period to determine if they qualify for UBI. People who are unemployed should also receive job training while on UBI or perform community service.

Help those in need of help and put able bodied people to work. There has to be a financial incentive for people to work instead of staying at home collecting CERB and or welfare.
