Not until the welfare and disability services have been reworked, sorted out, and audited.

Yes, but not for those who abuse the system or have ongoing criminal links. STRONG checks and balances in place to prevent taxpayer funds being wasted.

 @8YBC7LZConservativefrom Quebec  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes and no people would stop working but some people don’t make ends meat so people should get the basics covered.

Yes, but it should not be paid out unless you are incapable of working or are pursuing an alternative career such as an art form.

Yes its important to have a basic income program, but people abuse it for longer then they should,

 @8JLTWYQConservativefrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, everyone should receive an income who are currently employed , on disability or retired to encourage people to continue working

 @9C7ZMY7Conservativefrom British Columbia  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes I agree to a certain extent but if you receive the financial help you need to also prove that you are a working member of society and not just sitting at home collecting money from the government

 @97T4JZCConservativefrom Ontario  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but for basic necessities only, AND ONLY IF, we can afford it. Manage the debt and deficit first

Yes but not right now. As the world continues to industrialize, a UBI will become more appealing.

 @7H7TDNM from Maine  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but I support more combanition of negative income tax and flat tax.

Yes, but the amount should be determined by that family's yearly income.

Only during this time of the quarantine where many people are being laid off

No, this will make people lazy and will lead to a more communistic government.

Yes, a capitalist system that doesn't start at zero can benefit everyone without compromising the capitalist systems in the United States

 @8RW26DX from North Carolina  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but only for those who work multiple jobs, or those who can't work.

Yes, as long as all other safety net and welfare programs are defunded.

 @8WRG7RN from North Carolina  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes I think people should receive money from the government but not enough for them to live off of. This way, people are still having to work but won't have to work all hours of the day and can worry about their families and other personal issues.

No, this will encourage people not to work and harm their spiritual, mental, and social well-being.

 @8R2RMP3 from New York  answered…4yrs4Y

 @36DLLNTanswered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but only after reworking the current budget to allocate funding to UBI.

 @8V5YS2B from Missouri  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but the amount of money should depend for each household due to how much each family might make. The poorer you are, the more you get.

 @8R377JD from Massachusetts  answered…4yrs4Y

 @IINXMP from Pennsylvania  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but after we drastically reduce our deficits. In the meantime, states should decide whether or not to provide one.

 @IINXMP from Pennsylvania  answered…4yrs4Y

No, but un-needed tax dollars will be redistributed to whom needs them most.

Yes, but only if welfare, social security, and that kind of stuff are eliminated and tax, if any, won't be over 20%.
