Depending on the crime they comited yes. If it was somthing like murder, then no, but if it was somthing like robbery then Yes or place them under house arrest using an electronic bracelet.

Non violent criminals shouldn't be in prison in the first place
@8L2JXFH4yrs4Y

Yes, either community service or house arrest depending on the situation. Only in specific cases though.It should be individual based on what is best for the community and what will produce meaningful change.

All depends on case circumstance

I think this really depends on the crime, for simple theft then I would agree but I think if it's anything bigger then no. I think if prisoners are released then they should have regular check ups from a parole officer.

Yes if they have exhibited good behaviour.
@8WNHTXHNew Democratic4yrs4Y
Yes, but they must perform community service on a daily basis and be monitored by electronic means.
@8J7JJCV5yrs5Y
Depending on what they were in prison for.
@8GHWTQB5yrs5Y
If they are in for possession of an illegal substance, theft without violence, or a DUI situation that caused a death through mva should be released with community service, mental health assessments and check ins, along with two to eight mandatory meetings to ensure they will abide by laws going forward.
