Very situationally dependant, especially dependant on their contribution and dedication to the betterment of their lives as well as our country.

No, unless they've entered illegally & it's safe for them to return to their home country, if it's not safe, then either keep them here or send them to another safe nation willing to take them in.

If they are a citizen then no. If they are a non citizen who has been deemed a danger to remain in Canada than yes, but even in that instant only so long as their country of origin is safe for them to return to.

Unless they have entered the country illegally, no, if they have & it is unsafe for them to return home, send them to an agreed safe location outside of Canada.

Yes, if it is a crime such as rape, aggravated assault, any sort of abuse to Canadians, but if their country is unsafe or in a state of war for example, then they should be in some sort of prison cell

 @9KM36XPfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

Yes as long as its safe, and will be legally punished in their country as well ( as long as they pay for their crimes basically)

 @9F42NPPfrom Alberta  answered…2yrs2Y

Depends on the crime. It depends on if they can pay their dues or if they can make up for it.

This is a real grey area, due to the fact we are a free country who protect immigrants. But all depending on the crime and severity should be heavily in the discussion.

 @8QSCBCYfrom Alberta  answered…4yrs4Y

No, unless they deny to serve their sentence; then they can have the option to serve it or get deported.
