I believe first nations communities are ignored and mistreated far too often. We should not just throw more money at the problem, but we need to actually ensure we are treating them as equal citizens and providing them with access to clean drinking water, social programs, and other assistance

It all depends what more comes out in regards to the Residential Schools and any other agreements that have not been honored. I have never been more embarrassed to be Canadian and our Prime Minister, as well as the historical handling of aboriginal affairs and deals is the reason for it

Yes, but need to verify through third party audit being received and spent to benefit of all aboriginals, or as intended when the funding was provided.

I think make an economy for them that they can run them selves and then don’t give them more money

No, and replace the Indian Act. The government should not control most aspects of Indigenous peoples' lives. The new act should guarantee equal rights and responsibilities and promote the self-reliance of communities.

No, encourage integration, but it will take time... Education, training and many programs, BUT BEEN so long now, will there be enough jobs? Equality... I would love housing, meds, dental, eye care... I was born here, worked here, paid taxes here, supported my community, raised a family here and am dependent on gov. Pension, as any savings I had goes to ridiculous rent costs, meds, no dental, food jokes, no subsidy towards market value rent, I get no help to survive ad a senior and paid my way through life... Indigenous are welcome to be tax paying citizens who integrate as Canadians... We are all humans
