Aboriginal people need to have that support to compensate for their hardships and use of resources. Although it also depends on the person who is being funded. Many studies show that young Aboriginal kids end up to drug use due to the money they posses after a certain age. The government should track the drug use of Aboriginal parents to prevent passing down the habit and mindset. Rather than helping the aboriginal community, the funds end up destroying it due to the generational trauma

I say no but the reason I say no is because if you look at the quality of some reserves they aren't taken care of and some places they don't try to work for better for themselves, that's why I think there should be more social projects and other things like better subsidized housing.
@9ZGGXJ65mos5MO
No, but keep their funding and offer education, training, and social programs but funding phases out as they are integrated into society more.

No, instead of monetary funds, we should instead offer assistance in the form of education, training, and social programs. And they should be integrated into society as citizens.

Ask the community what they want and work with the indigenous community to provide what supports they request.
