No, they should not get any more fund or special privileges. They should start paying taxes and stuff but still keep their lands and whatnot
@B29QJ6J3mos3MO
Yes but not just throwing money at them, actually implement infrastructure and help people understand how to best utilize them
@9VN9Y946mos6MO
Individual aboriginal people shouldn’t be given funding, but the reservations should receive substantially more funding.
@8VTQKZM4yrs4Y
Whatever it takes for them to be independent and have successful communities so that they have the knowledge and power to self-actualize and flourish.
@9VCFHPM6mos6MO
No, I believe that they need to be taught how to spend the money they are getting instead of just receiving money with no knowledge on how to spend it
@9V9R5P2Conservative6mos6MO
I think Aboriginals should receive more government funding. One of the reasons would be the really bad water system they have. They should have more funds to build better hospitals, schools, community centers, elderly homes, and build a better life in general.

Yes, for the required necessities and to reduce extreme hardship (eg Nunavut shipping costs). Also provide autonomy and incentivize self sufficiency
@9LP28BL12mos12MO
No, it all happened many years before I was born why are we still paying for the actions of the founding people of canada. I wasn’t involved why should my tax dollars pay them.

The government should respect all treaties or form new treaties equivalent with to-date inflation with the indigenous of the land. Borders of the reservations should also be respected and not trespassed.

@8VQS2ZQConservative4yrs4Y
Yes, but only more to necessities like water
@8VMMFJM4yrs4Y
Yes and we should integrate them into society as citizens. What I mean by this is that we should use the funds to build up and give courses in school so we can integrate their culture into ours so it doesn't die out.
@8VKXNYV4yrs4Y
Yes, and we should instead offer assistance in the form of education, training, and social programs
@8VJK25RNew Democratic4yrs4Y
No, but the government should invest in infrastructure, access to clean drinking water and ressources to support communities (suicide prevention, health and education services, social services, etc.)
@8VH5QM34yrs4Y
Enough to keep them going.
@8VFJY5V4yrs4Y
Aboriginals should receive funding as needed.
@8VDV7PW4yrs4Y

@8VDDK3L4yrs4Y
Yes ofc😘 they should be integrated into our community AND be offered assistance and training and social programs
@8VCJQH24yrs4Y
Yes, but more so for those that live on reservations, not so much those that "live the white man" life, bit are deemed aboriginal because of their genes
@8TY225L4yrs4Y
