Public opinion polls show that a significant portion of the American public supports sanctuary city policies. A Reuters/Ipsos poll conducted in 2017 found that 75% of Americans believe that undocumented immigrants should be allowed to stay in the U.S. if they meet certain requirements.

When you offer sanctuary you lose control of the number of people coming in and are unable to verify who they are and what their intentions may be. Basically the boarder ceases to exist.

Studies have shown that sanctuary cities have lower crime rates compared to non-sanctuary cities, suggesting that community trust and cooperation, which are fostered by sanctuary policies, contribute to safer environments for both immigrant and non-immigrant residents.

SOME Immigrants pose a threat, as all it takes is one to be unaccounted for, and a crime occurs. if everyone lives in a city undocumented, then it will create chaos.

I don't think we need sanctuary cites as it will raise crime rate , and homelessness among those areas.
