that would be unfair, so I would say no. because it should be their choose too and they most likely did something to earn that money. if they feel the need to give to the poor or donate that will be on their own accord.

I feel that the rich should be taxed for things that would support the future in our world. Such as homeless shelters, renewable energy, and money towards researching climate change. As well as donating money so 3rd world countries can have real meals.

There are agreements, as well as other things we have signed which might get in the way of this, but we should have a progressive tax system depending on different factors as to how people pay different amounts.

yes, however don't make immediate plans relying on taxing the rich as they may leave the country interfering with plans they made relying off tax money from the rich

The rich don’t pay tax. Need to increase financial literacy. This question is foolish. Increase taxes for rich only ever affects the less fortunate

we either abolish income tax, tax poorer families/citizens less, or tax the rich more and or fairly.

Yes, but have them pay their reasonably fair share within a larger, sustainable tax system rather than have them pay for everything like Bernie Sanders wants them to, because there's a great risk of the system collapsing altogether if you tax the wealthy way too much.

Spend less or more intelligently. The 'rich' are a small amount of Canadians and their income tax is negligible.

 @95DH7PGfrom British Columbia  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but this is not an "end-all, be-all" solution which Bernie Sanders thinks it is. There needs to be multiple streams of revenue that work and help sustain government programs rather than one group being taxed more heavily than another.
