Australia currently has a progressive tax system whereby high income earners pay a higher percentage of tax than low income tax. A more progressive income tax system has been proposed as a tool towards reducing wealth inequality.

Lower taxes on middle and lower class, increase on those that make more than 1 mil; and abolish most loopholes on major corporations and increase what they pay.

Yes, the more money you make, the more taxes you should pay to make up for people unable to pay such high taxes with a low income. So poor people should have lowered taxes and richer people should have higher taxes.

It depends on what qualifies as rich. In the past few years, our family has not qualified for breaks in child care or child tax...we are nowhere near rich, but I guess considered somewhat wealthy according to whoever made the requirement up; it's ridiculous. We are middle class and also struggle.

No, lower tax for the middle class and poor

No, be more strict to the rich and businesses for tax loopholes. Also lower taxes for the poor

Lower the income tax rate. It’s sad when the country takes 45% of my gross income whether it be federal or provincial taxes!!
