Yes, Nuclear energy is safe, efficient and clean. Also look into Geothermal. We should incentivize the free market into innovating more plants to fight climate change.

Odd that thorium, which is a next-gen nuclear energy source is lumped in with “no” on nuclear energy! Increase the use of thorium nuclear energy and explore widespread smaller scale fusion.

Yes, as long as there is no subsidy, TerraPower seems like the most reliable.

The regulations and standards, and the infrastructure involved in the nuclear power plants need to meet modern standards before this transition is possible. Including updating outdated nuclear facilities. The answer is yes, but I don't think its financially viable to make the transition to nuclear under the current federal budget.
