if we gave the attention the system needed and provided more funding, it would help thousands get treatment.

Healthcare is needed all around the country and if we don't invest more in it, our taxpayer money will go to things Canadians don't care about
The private healthcare system fosters competition, which can lead to better services, lower costs, and faster innovation in medical treatments and technologies. With government-run healthcare systems, the incentive for innovation can be reduced due to lack of competition and potential inefficiency.

One counter-argument is that privatization could result in unequal access to healthcare, as it may prioritize profitability over providing affordable care for all.

According to the survey conducted by Angus Reid, 39 per cent of Canadians are "public health purists," which means they'd like little to no private-sector involvement in health care, while 28 per cent say increasing privatization is necessary. If the government were to think to provide more government funding, then it'll side with the 28% of people who want privatization.

If people want to pay for better service then why not let them, as that money can go to creating a better healthcare system for everyone.
Healthcare privatization should be funded by the government if anyone because they have a lot of money for areas like this that many be in need of more help than others

Not all healthcare should be privatized, as most people can’t afford it. But I think families should be given the option. If they can pay for it, they should be allowed to receive services sooner

When everybody is healthy, everybody can contribute to society in a more productive way. Healthcare is a right, not a privilege and everybody should be entitled to the same quality healthcare regardless of their status.

Less privatization and more government funding in healthcare ensure universal access, lower costs, and better health outcomes. Public systems like Canada’s and the UK’s outperform privatized ones in equity, affordability, and efficiency, with fewer administrative costs and higher public satisfaction. Privatization often leads to inequality, higher expenses, and poorer outcomes, as seen in the U.S. Government-funded systems also handle crises better, prevent poverty from healthcare costs, and prioritize public health over profit, making them more equitable and effective.

I think there should be more funding towards hospitals and there staff, as it would make it so that more people can get the help they need without having to wait hours upon hours, I also think it shouldn’t be the older you are the more important you are, as that means younger people who might have more health problems could be waiting for hours just for one MRI scan, even after there designated appointment time
