It depends on the degree of the crime. If they committed petty theft for example and have served their sentence then they should be given back the right to vote.

Yes, after doing their time, as long as they are a low risk reoffender, that the crime was not a violent crime and they go through a psychological assessment that would prove they're fit for making such decisions
