If the private ownership of guns is restricted than the public ownership of guns must be limited to foreign use. If the police in London, England, the seat of the British Empire, do not carry guns then there is no need for any police force to routinely carry weapons.

Leave it the same. Most gun crimes occur due to illegally purchased fire arms. Exploring options of reducing access to illegal fire arms would be more benificial long term

Niether, but add a one time fee per gun owner. The money would go to promotional/motivational videos that would educate the public of all ages on acceptable ways to use a gun which involves traditional teachings from First Nations across Canada.

Much Less. Responsible citizens use guns legally/responsibly. Criminals do the opposite. Legal gun owners can kill criminals doing crime when less gun control is invoked. See: Texas gun laws vs Chicago gun laws
