I think there should be no privatization of hospital or healthcare services because that would force the rich to invest in the healthcare system in Canada.

 @9QV4KY2from Quebec  answered…9mos9MO

No, and implement a two tier public/private system, private having to accept the social insurance card while receiving what it costs in the public service for the same act/service

 @9JSMF3ZConservativefrom British Columbia  answered…1yr1Y

it doesn't really matter because we all get treated the same but if you pay more you can get better health care and the more active the health care would be.

 @9H6XNKXConservativefrom Hyogo  answered…1yr1Y

No. We need to reduce government spending to help get inflation and cost of living under control before we increase spending for anything

 @9GDJ6X8Conservativefrom Quebec  answered…1yr1Y

We need to spend them money we have already allocated better by cutting hospital overhead and reducing doctor salaries

The government and the health care industry needa to be accountable for the wasted spending and poor management

 @9FKMM2Tfrom Saskatchewan  answered…2yrs2Y

They need to put more money into helping provinces continue to develop their public/private hybrid system where the government pays for people to go to private clinics

 @9VJZTNPConservativefrom Alberta  answered…6mos6MO

Healthcare should be free presuming you are following the rules and not taking advantage of the system.

 @9LRRDC6Conservativefrom Ontario  answered…12mos12MO

Get rid of the bureaucracy and administration and ensure more of the money spent goes to actual health care providers

 @964T6LMfrom Alberta  answered…3yrs3Y

I believe the funding for healthcare is misplaced in the extremely padded administration staff when it should be in the actual health care services.

yes, by decreasing the wages of AHS administrative employees and reducing the number of AHS offices, stop laying off nurses and real healthcare workers

 @8VNWVPXConservativefrom Saskatchewan  answered…4yrs4Y

It depends what province they are looking at. I think they should spend more on the provinces that are already struggling with healthcare.

User fees for abusers and non vaccinated people who need medical attention.

 @8V8R9YTConservativefrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

The Government should spend more on education and prevention. to hopefully improve health and reduce future costs.

 @8TWHGQPfrom Alberta  answered…4yrs4Y

Public health needs insentive to increase quality of health care not cutting corners and reduce wait times

 @8TV8MBYfrom Alberta  answered…4yrs4Y

The money needs to be structured to go to actual medical services rather than administration.

Provide free insulin and other medicine for chronic illnesses. If people can't afford them, they die.

 @8SYBK3TConservativefrom Alberta  answered…4yrs4Y

If you're going to continue with the current system, add in dental and other stuff that isn't covered.

 @8SP4VS9from Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

Privatization should occur, and the government should mandate insurance for all citizens.

 @8SFWDY9Conservativefrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

the government should open a bit more just to fix up a few problems we have

I think that this type of question is not a yes or no answer. I feel like the government could definitely increase funds for things at need help in the healthcare system. I think that they should increase if it will damage another part of the economy. Basically they should have enough funds for health care but not to much to the point that it isn't helping them anymore and it's just sitting there.

 @8Q85WSSfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

The base "free" health care we have is good and should stay, but privatized health care for those who can afford it should also be available.

 @8K222LSfrom Alberta  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8HQCKGTConservativefrom Alberta  answered…5yrs5Y

I think that they should ad a little more money towards that but not alot because the goverment needs that for other things in the world

 @9C7CKWQConservativefrom New York  answered…2yrs2Y

Focus on how the money is being allocated, ensuring it is done in the most efficient way, removing unnecessary positions in the Management and Hospital Administration

No. They should be going after the pharmaceutical gatekeepers who make the health industry so expensive. And then they should privatize healthcare so it’s affordable for everyone to buy on their own without the help of the government.

More tax credits for people who choose natural health care and less into doctors, hospitals, etc. More focus on preventative.

 @8PV69YXConservativefrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

Not that much because of COVID and the debt it will build up for me in the future

 @8PJDYXKConservativefrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes but don't increase it too much because it will cause our taxes to rise

Heath care is important, but we should have both public and private healthcare, that way more people can be treated, because their is less backlog in the public system.
