Yes, They should have good background checks and not be recieving government money

Yes, we should, but I feel they don't need to come into Vancouver's most expensive place to live. Why can they not go to Alberta or Saskatchewan or even up north of BC?

 @8VSY4FSfrom New Brunswick  answered…4yrs4Y

Until we have real healthcare, refugees should have to wait upwards of 1-2 years before being able to get a doctor. Take in those who are capable and willing to work and those who will help Canada and not drag on it

 @8VBX58FConservativefrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes but they must have relevant skills for the labour market. Relevant trades in need of skills should be priorities

 @8V9D5ZLfrom Alberta  answered…4yrs4Y

Not all Syrians are Muslim 🙄. Accept families, no single women or men.

 @8V8G5WJfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes as long as they can contribute to society and not cost money on our government. Tax payers should not be supporting refugees income.

Don't let in terrorists and reduce the number of immigrants, in total, without skills we are lacking in

 @8V44XFMfrom Alberta  answered…4yrs4Y

I think Canada needs to take care of who is here now. Once that gets figured out then allow refugees

 @8V2NV33from Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes . But they should in some way help the community with community hours , untill they find a job .

 @8TZSDVQLiberalfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

Should accept the Syrians that supported Canada during the last 20 years in Syria.

Yes after extensive background checks and following them for several years to ensure they understand the laws and cultures in Canada

 @8QCGGMLConservativefrom Alberta  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes but with significant background checks/vetting and continued monitoring. They should not be allowed to live generously off tax payer's money either. They need to contribute to society right away. And the amount of refugees yearly needs to be limited. We do not have the resources to support the whole world.

We would help way more people by actually resettling the refugees somewhere else in the Middle East because it would be a lot cheaper and we can support more people that way

 @8NWWM79from Alberta  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but only mothers and children, the rest should go fight for their country.

High skilled immigrant workers. Not low skilled workers that would lower the wage for the working man.

 @8JM5PG5from British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

yes, but temporary, until the country is no longer at war, then they get sent back.

 @8H8N396from Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8F6GYZFfrom Ontario  answered…5yrs5Y

This is a pretty dumb question it obviously depends on the refugee, maybe we should tighten our border security and do a deeper dive on incoming refugees

 @8F2K8SCfrom Saskatchewan  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8DTXS2FConservativefrom Alberta  answered…5yrs5Y

Only if they contribute to society and accustom to the laws abs rules here. And they should work and pay taxes and contribute. And extensive checks need to be done. People who have trauma drain the system. Trauma of refugees needs to be considered.

 @8JW33M8from Alberta  answered…4yrs4Y

In all honestly, “Canada” needs to close its boarders I know so many people who were/are born and raised here in Edmonton, but no one wants to hire them because they’re hiring people from out of Country for less.
It needs to stop, the population is getting way to big for Edmonton alone.
