no because the government is giving them houses instead of the canadians that were originally struggling.

no, because Canada already allowed to settle the number of refugees they promised.

 @8VW89C9New Democraticfrom Alberta  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but only after extensive background checks and a 2 year monitoring period

 @8VVNSYLNew Democraticfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

yes, but only for people who were desperate to live. Provided that they will have equal rights with a temporary worker in this country.

 @8VTJPY8from Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

yes, only if it is not empeding on our stability as a country (healthcare, mental health, housing, environment) and is done to ensure safety of our country.

 @8VSS27VNew Democraticfrom Alberta  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, although don't give them as much support compared to other struggling true canadians

 @8VSDVY2New Democraticfrom Alberta  answered…4yrs4Y

A mixture of monitoring potential threats and this is no longer relevant. Not all Syrians are terrorists and shouldn’t be treated like one. For the public’s safe of mind a background check should be done and if there is a threat then monitor them.

I have absolutely no issue with letting them come to canada as long as we help our own people first

 @8VHM4PKNew Democraticfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

Again, with support and interaction, get to know the people moving into our country.

 @8VFVNTMNew Democraticfrom Alberta  answered…4yrs4Y

They should be fully immunized on arrival as well as a complete health check at out government expense

 @8VDW32Nfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

No, we need to take care of our own first before we accept refugees into a problematic country

 @8VDB543New Democraticfrom Alberta  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8V28JMZNew Democraticfrom Nova Scotia  answered…4yrs4Y

I think that refugees should be accepted, but when they come to Canada they should have to go to a province/city that isn't overpopulated already. People shouldn't be moving places where homes aren't available for those currently live there.

 @8TW94V4New Democraticfrom Alberta  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but we should be more focused on providing peace keeping aid to war torn countries so that refugees can return to their homes and be safe.

 @8TW9284from Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

If Canada is going to support US attempts to overthrow the legit Syrian Gov, then we have to do whatever it takes to help those people

 @8TR83DZfrom Nova Scotia  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8TL4VCBNew Democraticfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

We need to take in as many refugees as economically viable. If we can't treat our own citizens.

 @8R4KRPHfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

We need to care for our poor and weak first, whennthe country is flourishing then can we take in a other countries downtrodden, there are other countries that are more capable of supporting others vulnerable populace.

I feel like we should only allow a current amount each year we would be able to save a lot more money

 @8PMMDXVNew Democraticfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

the government should conduct extensive background research and only accept them into the country under dyer circumstances.

 @8PKYNMCNew Democraticfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but we should not allow refugees to take over and consume all of our resources

 @8PKDCVZfrom New Brunswick  answered…4yrs4Y

 @ZaneThind17New Democraticfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes but make sure there's a great background check so one has terrorism background.

 @8JKPSZ5New Democraticfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

Refugees from anywhere should have background checks and it should be insured they will be a benefit to Canada in some way

 @8J8WW99New Democraticfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes but ensure our multi cultural society is protected. We do not support child marriages, Sharia law nor some other extreme religious belief. So good education of the immigrants is important so they know what kind of a country they are agreeing to live in.

 @8GQVTMZfrom New Brunswick  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, if they need asylum and/or need to be reunited with family. Some background check and screening.

 @8CZN5MSNew Democraticfrom Alberta  answered…5yrs5Y

We need to focus on providing more for our current homeless population. Why should we bring others in to the country and support their needs before our own?

 @8TZCKP5New Democraticfrom New Brunswick  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes but limit the amount of refugees we are helping and make it more of a priority to help Canadians and war veterans first.

 @8QJ8ZJDNew Democraticfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, extensive background checks and dont give them more of a living wage then Canadians who need it I understand helping others but when you can't help your own country that's an issue
