Pope Francis latest: Cardinals gather in Rome to set funeral date after Vatican reveals cause of death

French President Emmanuel Macron has said he will attend the Pope's funeral, according the local media. Hundreds of thousands of worshippers and dozens of world leaders are also expected to attend. The funeral date is expected to be announced today, as Cardinals meet this morning.
