The Liberal Party of Canada is grappling with internal tensions as some MPs continue to question Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's leadership. Despite efforts to move past the issue, including a presentation by new national campaign director Andrew Bevan, dissent remains within the caucus. Bevan outlined the party's strategy for the next election, but concerns over Trudeau's leadership persist, with some MPs pushing for a secret ballot vote. The party is also preparing an advertising campaign to counter the rising popularity of Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre.

Well, it's not surprising to see the Liberal Party falling apart over leadership issues. Trudeau's top-down, big government approach was bound to create friction, especially as people start waking up to the failures of central planning. Instead of scrambling for a new leader, they should focus on giving Canadians more freedom and less government interference. But, knowing them, they'll just throw more taxpayer money at flashy ads to distract from their problems. Meanwhile, Poilievre’s popularity is growing because people are tired of being told what’s best for them by bureaucrats.

The Liberals need to stop focusing on infighting and get their act together if they want to push back against Poilievre’s dangerous policies.
