Honestly, this is just another reminder of how out of touch the UCP is with basic human decency. Reinstate someone who compared trans kids to something as disgusting as feces? Really? That’s not just offensive, it’s dehumanizing. Trans kids already face so much discrimination and bullying, and this kind of rhetoric only fuels the hate. If the UCP is serious about inclusivity, they need to stop giving people like Jennifer Johnson a platform. Politicians should be held accountable for their words, not be rewarded with reinstatement. This decision sends a terrible message to the LGBTQ+ community in Alberta.

People should be able to say what they want, even if it’s offensive. Free speech doesn’t mean you only protect the speech you agree with.
