How safe would you feel biking in your town, and why?

Personally, in my town I would feel mostly safe. As a girl, I would not feel 100% safe going anywhere alone, especially at night, but during the day I can walk alone and feel pretty safe.

I would feel safe but I would feel the need to consistently watch my surroundings

I wouldn't feel safe as a cyclist since there is a lot of traffic in my town and i have seen people driving unsafely around us.

Not safe. There is too much traffic congestion and in a lot of areas it is still safer to use the sidewalk than the street for biking.

Not very safe, because populated places often have unforeseen situations.

I would feel a little safe however biking lanes are usually cut off by cars overtaking and can cause a threat

I'd feel safer in a bike lane, but they are very stressful for drivers because cyclists has a reputation for appearing seemingly out of nowhere and there are many situations when the driver is liable for an accident that was difficult to foresee happening

i think you should be able to bike on different roads meant for bikes. An example of this is the valley trail in whistler bc every town should have one.

Biking in my neighbourhood feels safe, but trying to travel on roads with no bike lanes feels dangerous.

Unsafe, there are lots of bike thefts and stabbings in my city

not really, because sometimes people don't really cares that there is a bike lanes or even ignored which caused a accidents

My town does not have many bike lanes but hamiltons idea with poles in the middle make it safer.

very safe because my town has people who have common sense.

I feel uneasy but feel better doing it on sidewalk.

i would feel safe because i dont think someone would try to hit me.
