It feels like just another shuffle in Trudeau's deck of cards, and I doubt we'll see any real change in direction that benefits the average working Canadian. The Liberals keep pushing policies that seem more concerned with political correctness and global image than the real issues facing our workers and seniors. MacKinnon's background as the Liberal house leader doesn't exactly fill me with confidence that he'll stand up for the interests of everyday Canadians over party lines. I guess time will tell, but I'm not holding my breath for any groundbreaking improvements in our labour policies.
