Cryptocurrency can be the future as the rate of it is increasing day by day. So investment in such can be a great prospect for people. The Government can take the initiative to regulate the currency.

Like all currency, cryptocurrencies manifest greed, hoarding and violence - exporting suffering and tragedy to the dissident voices within the dominant culture.

The government should make laws surrounding this issue because we have no way to criminalize people for crimes of this nature.

The Canadian government should be buying as much bitcoin as it can for their reserve so we don’t get left behind. Very grateful we in Canada have the option to buy bitcoin in an ETF.

It should be regulated so that it cannot be used for money, laundering, and terrorism financing. I don’t think it needs to be regulated to prevent crashes i.e. to protect the consumer.

yes and no, underprivileged citizens deserve the same financial opportunities and services that traditional banks offer the wealthy but the government should screen cryptocurrencies before circulation to ensure legitimate value and exchange rates.

Companies should have to provide certain disclosures but I do not believe they necessarily need to be regulated

 @B4JZFDLfrom Ontario  answered…3wks3W

No, but it needs to operate with warning to citizens that it is unregulated so if issues occur, it is at the risk of the participant.

No, it's their money they can decide how and where to spend their money, if it gets out of control than start supervising and regulate the users account.

 @9QQVM6Kfrom Ontario  answered…10mos10MO

I don't think the government should put stricter regulations on cryptocurrencies because investing your own money in them is a personal choice, and the government shouldn't interfere with how you manage your finances.

Make citizens less vulnerable and desperate, as well as more educated so as to avoid resorting to cryptocurrency.
