When I hear languages that I don't understand, I don't care in the slightest, unless I feel like that language is being used to exclude me from information that they do not want me to hear. That seems exceedingly rare, and if I worked under the assumption that it was always about me and not about the other people having a conversation that has nothing to do with me, then I might be more frustrated by it. That said, if it is clear that they are excluding me or being disrespectful, then it bothers me quite a bit, much like it would if they were saying in english. I do however firmly believe that if you want to live in Canada you will do your absolute utmost to speak English fluently. People who come into the country should have the courtesy to be part of the community, and that requires communicating with community members. Not as a requirement at all times, but as in ability to do so
