Yes, but only with regard to the immigrants beliefs aligning closely with canadians

Specifically regarding gay and women's rights, but including all Western values in a general sense. If immigrant convicted of a felony, they are removed from the country and no longer eligible for re-entry for a Time dependent on the severity of their crime.
