Yes, because it encourages improvement due to competition between schools, helps lower income kids have better education, and lets the not-low-income kids have equal opportunity by having vouchers, too. We also need to improve our schools. Rather than funding them with local income taxes, which gives less funding to poor areas, schools should get funding from taxes from the entire country, and be made to reach equal standards. Fix the problem of teacher tenure preventing people from firing terrible teachers.
