Don't change how many are allowed in but place refugees in parts of Canada that need more people instead of letting them congregate into conclaves near major population centres.

 @B35P3WCfrom Quebec  answered…2mos2MO

we should finish all the construction projects and make housing affordable so people who come to the country can afford it

 @B2MJ2M3from Quebec  answered…3mos3MO

No but review the immigrants to make sure they are productive citizens. Remove visa if they are not productive.

 @9YFZV7Dfrom Quebec  answered…5mos5MO

Yes but in a sense that immigrants become a productive citizen and not a disruptive one whether it be them breaking the law or becoming nuisance and not respecting Canada

 @9LP28BLfrom Quebec  answered…12mos12MO

Take care of our homeless and Canadian citizens before taking care of other countries. We have a lot going on in Canada, and the millions of dollars Trudeau has spent on numerous occasions would have benefited our own country and the taxpayers funding his spending

Let the educated get a chance. Undergraduates with economic backgrounds, doctors, and lawyers should not go through such a tedious process. They could probably be great addition to the system.

 @9GZYG4Jfrom Quebec  answered…1yr1Y

Yes, improve immigration rules, citizenship test, border control and accept anyone who's not a criminal or a national threat, also impose no limit amount of immigrants or legal residents.

 @9F3KW8Bfrom Quebec  answered…2yrs2Y

No, and prioritize the acceptance of refugees while monitoring "non-essential" population flows so as to not overwhelm infrastructure, job markets, and other social institutions.

 @8YQTVFLfrom Quebec  answered…3yrs3Y

No, keep the same policy. But, allow immigrants to be included in the domains that they were doing in their country of origin.

 @8XXH7N7from Quebec  answered…3yrs3Y

Our current policies are good. We just need a government that sticks to the current policies.

 @8WFRGBHfrom Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8VQH9LGPeople’sfrom Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes , and the government should not create agreements forcing votes on immigrants entering/in Canada to vote for particular parties .

 @8VNRDR8from Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8VFLJ7Nfrom Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

No for people of the same culture yes for people with not the same culture

 @8V6VN9Sfrom Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

immigration policies should not end when they enter the country. there should be much more help and support. less strict rules for immigrants to get jobs or study.

 @8V2DH6Sfrom Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

Immigration should be on humanitarian grounds only, no more economic migrants who take Canadians' jobs

 @8TT97K7Conservativefrom Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

Immigrants should be trained to be productive citizens and be let into their previous work force ie. a doctor from another country should be able to become a doctor here!

 @8SF7HN3from Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

Regardless, regularly review recent immigrants to ensure they have become productive citizens and immigrants with violent/fraudulent criminal backgrounds should be strictly screened

 @8S6G82Tfrom Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

A panel of ten judges interview potential immigrant and looks forward core values.

 @8RR4Q24from Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

We need to make sure we are self sufficient before we take care of others

 @8RP63NLfrom Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, deport all illegal immigrants because it's unfair to those who entered legally

 @8QF6JHPfrom Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

Immigration is important and our country is more beautiful because of our diversity, but rich immigrants increasing the price of our housing and making owning property even less affordable needs to be regulated.

 @8PRN58Wfrom Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

The government should check the immigrants level of education and their skills. Canada currently has too many immigrants, but if they can contribute to Canada, then there is no need for a stricter immigration policy.

 @8K76JSQNew Democraticfrom Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

No, as long as the individual isn't a threat/danger to our country, there is no need. Screw discrimination as well, recognize immigrant's education making sure that fitting our practicies they may keep their liscences and practice their trade, and make it less complicated for refugees needing the safety of a new home.

 @8DG6C63from Quebec  answered…5yrs5Y

Technically, Canada needs the immigrants. The major part of the social services, businesses, and constructions are ran by the immigrants.

 @8D6ND8Cfrom Quebec  answered…5yrs5Y

people who are convicted criminals elsewhere then no. But make it easier for refugees.

 @9C7QQ2Vfrom Quebec  answered…2yrs2Y

No, increase incentives for high IQ and wealthy people to come to Canada and stay in Canada their whole life. Increase incentives for highly skilled Canadians to not leave Canada.

 @98B6SV5from Quebec  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, background check should be done on their relative and refuse them if needed. Also immigrant that are arrested for major crime should be ex-pulsed from the country and banned forever to enter it.

 @97VBYPLfrom Quebec  answered…2yrs2Y

Ensure they meet our standards based off a point system. And continue screening especially from high risk countries

 @8H74MVGfrom Quebec  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but screen for those with a criminal background, and make the process easier for skilled individuals as well as give immigrants the tools to be productive members of society
