Electoral District (2011):
No but at the same time Canadians have been having a hard time to get jobs and houses due to immigration.
Immigration Policy can be enchanced in order to get skillful people for the development of the country rather than bringing unskilled people .

Due to our high number of immigrants within the country, the government should make legislation in which individuals who are educated within their country can have an opportunity to prove their skills here to achieve their desired work. In the future ensure a more diverse immigrant population as well as maybe have more regulations of immigrations example, having desirable skills, education or anything of such.
Yes but only if logistic are in place to support them in employment, housing, education and health care
@9BN6JRT2yrs2Y
No, but enhance the skilled labour equivalency requirements to allow new immigrants access to the labour market they are trained-for (i.e. nurses, doctors, architects, welders etc.)
@9BC6QHP2yrs2Y
No, this country is terrible and immigrants who come here can lead miserable lives. They should think more about the decision to stay in Canada.
@93Q2D4L3yrs3Y
Yes, fix loopholes and disparities
They should make it easy for them to complete but also have background checks to make sure they are not criminals or created and large offences'
I think there has to be restrictions and have different reasons
I think we should continue to let immigrants in the country but we need to take into account where we are as Canadians before we can help our neighbors. I am all for helping immigrants but only once all Canadians have what they need. I don't like seeing the homeless sleeping outside all year because our shelters are full but instead our government ignores them and brings in new people to help with our budget. Imagine country's like a suburb neighborhood, you have 3 kids in your house and the neighbor has two. One of your kids is hungry and one of your neighbors kids are hungry. Who… Read more
No for those who wants to bring their family here in Canada.
Allow immigrants who are going to participate in building the country and no government funding for at least ten years them working and paying tax
Skilled immigration is an exploitation of underdeveloped countries. It is not ethical and should be revised.
No but support immigrants better when they arrive
I don't believe it should be made more difficult, but there should be extra support and monitoring once they are members of our society
@8SSBB9R4yrs4Y
Yes, but make the process easier for skilled workers, and accept anyone who's not a violent criminal
@8SD66P74yrs4Y
Only make it stricter in the sense where there is not as many homes being produced
Yes, if someone has a criminal record and the crime was convicted less than 5 years ago they should be put on probation. The length of probation will depend on the extent of the crime. If it was committed in the three if was murder or something worse or close to that they should be put in jail. The length of time will be decided depending on the extent of the crime.
@firozsasi4yrs4Y
It should be design to bring instant economic benefits to Canada.
Skilled workers should have an easy process but include geographic requirements. Keep them out of higher populated cities for a specified time.
Yes, make sure you can identify who is suitable to live in our country, and who isn’t.
@8PLR7B74yrs4Y
No, they should make it easier for immigrants with no criminal background but make sure that those with criminal backgrounds are accepted if they really need it so long as they haven't been convicted of terrorism or other largely violent crimes.
Okay with current system
No. Support them by placing them in so dense areas in Canada and put all needed support.
@8HVN73K5yrs5Y
No, but still implement criminal background checks and productiveness.
Just check criminal backgrounds
@99JRRBJ2yrs2Y
No Canada should be invite the people as a work permit or like a students visa because the Canada population is not too much.
Yes stricter policies screening for political ties to foreign countries
No, and we should make the current system run smoother, including living up to our obligations to our allies who helped us in Afghanistan.
Yes, by only allowing immigrants to come to Canada if they will benefit our economy or are trying to escape a deadly situation.
yes but we need a better way to do it such as going through an extended process
The process should be easier for refugees, though we need to be careful of overpopulation
I think we should make the process easier for skilled workers, but also for immigrants who came from severe situations like escaping war or poverty and are looking for a place to settle down and straighten out their lives.
No, and implement services to ensure immigrants become productive citizens
Drastically reduce the TFW program and make immigration stricter, but recognize more foreign credentials for immigrants, and favour refugees over economic migrants.
@93Z7PKR3yrs3Y
No, but make the process stricter for refugees
Avoid having them all move to the already densely populated areas
No, but I wish for Canada to not become over populated.
