I agree that people should be able to choose to pay for private service, but it shouldn’t be an obligation to do so.
Private healthcare does not promote equitable access to health care and only creates longer wait times for those who are unable to afford private care.
The people who have the money to afford private health care should do so. They people that cannot afford it will get quicker and better access to public healthcare.
