Incentives could include financial support or tax breaks for developers to build housing that is affordable for low- and middle-income families. Proponents argue that it increases the supply of affordable housing and addresses housing shortages. Opponents argue that it interferes with the housing market and can be costly for taxpayers.

Yes, but they need to have more of a plan for city infrastructure first. Many residential/housing developments are not designed to be environmentally or people-friendly. There should be more roads, plazas, and walkways designed to better handle the population.

Yes. But not just for the very poor. For the working poor also! There should be reasonable housing. Available for people working making “middle class” wages.
@B4PPBZN2wks2W
Incentivize, but not centrally controlled. And ban corporate and foreign investors from purchasing residential real estate.

If we got a good government we would drill for oil more. we would bring back coal and logging and and the gdp up. then once we bring back these jobs and our unemployment goes down we need a law the maximises rent prices per area.
Affordable housing is owned by Real estate companies who do not allow people Who are receiving ODSP, Ontario works, Portable Housing Benefit, to apply for their units. People receiving these benefits are redirected to apply for RGI housing instead.

Yes, government should reduce bureaucracy and approve permits within 6 months max, the government should provide favourable financing for nonprofits to build affordable rental housing.
@B22FPCG5mos5MO
No, the government should incentivuze market-rate housing
No, it should expropriate private land and construct prefabricated housing directly
No, it should expropriate private land and construct housing directly
@9W8J6366mos6MO
No, under the assumption the government has subsidized and built affordable houses already- first time home buyers only need government incentives because they are barred from the market
